“The staff was really nice, I have nothing bad to say about them but the hotel itself was a nightmare!!! The first room that I was given, the handle was literally just hanging it didn't open the door and the new room that I received the only a couple of lamps worked and the safety chain to lock the room was literally a screw! ”

“This was a great historic stay, in a convenient location. I LOVE the Harvest restaurant, and the Stone Eagle Beer Garden is nearby as well. Check in was very easy, and there is plenty of room and also great options for beds. There is a nice clean separate kitchen, and the bathroom is very clean and modern yet historic.”

“This place was a perfect place for us and our 4 young children, ages 12-4. They played soccer in the yard and watched the sheep while we were there, and it was close to Colorado Bend State Park. It was fun to go to the park during the day then come relax in the evening and watch/listen to the sheep, make some dinner, and watch the beautiful sunset in the evening. We all slept great, too, thanks to the solitude/darkness/silence of the area and the beds being comfy enough! The stars were amazing. ”
